It seems your prints are all listed in a single small size. What if I want larger prints?
I made a commitment to myself and my clientele a long time ago that price would not be an obstacle to obtaining my photographs. To that end, all the prints offered on the site are available as reasonably priced Open Edition Miniatures (OE) and larger Limited Edition (LE) Prints.
What are your image sizes?
Below are the sizes for my print offerings:
Looking for other sizes? It's possible! Please inquire...
Why are your LE prints only available as Canvas Prints?
1. Canvas photographic prints offer an artistic appeal and fit with virtually any decor style. Photographs are printed on a superior quality 380 gsm poly/cotton blend canvas. They feature a stunning matte/low-lustre finish to prevent glare, as well as a fine weave to create sharp images. You can expect breathtaking image resolution, optical clarity and color saturation.
2. Canvas photographic prints need not be framed and they certainly need not be presented under glass. Traditional photographs require protection from indoor elements and are typically framed 'under glass'. That glass, unless using very expensive museum glass (or the like), usually introduces glare and reflections, often interfering with the visual enjoyment of the photograph. Canvas is fully protected and does not introduce those distractions if placed in a well-lit environment without direct light hitting it.
3. Availability of mediums. As you will notice, a large proportion of my photographs are offered in a Panoramic Format (Pano) in an aspect ratio of 2.375:1 (and 1:2.375 for vertical pieces). Unfortunately, other options such as Metallic Prints, Wood Prints and/or Acrylic Prints have size and aspect ratio constraints. Canvas, thankfully minimizes those constraints and I am able to offer my entire offering that way.
With that said, if a particular photograph(s) catches your eye, I am more than willing to explore other medium options (ie. Metal, Wood or Acrylic) that may or may not need the aspect ratio/size altered. Please don't hesitate to reach out and inquire.
UPDATE (01/28/22): After a fruitful conversation with my suppliers, it seems that both Acrylic prints and Metal prints will be made available to me in the sizes I require... please stay tuned!
What are your edition sizes for your LE collection?
My editions are limited to 75 in each medium. At this time, I am offering them printed on Canvas. Other mediums such as Metal and Acrylic will be available soon and will have their own editions. If the demand is there, I will also consider the various papers I offer: Premium Photo Paper, Metallic Photo Paper and Watercolour Paper. Each LE print produced will count towards the edition, regardless of size (excluding the OE Miniatures - they are effectively unlimited).
Please note: this website and the content herein are new! My old B&W editions though technically still available are different editions altogether. For this reason, most offerings here have the First Prints (#1 / 75) available!
Why are there no descriptions accompanying your work?
They are coming! This is a brand new website, with mostly new work. Each image will eventually have its 'backstory' included as the buildout of this website continues... Stay tuned!
Are your prints signed?
Yes! All OE Miniature prints whether on the various papers offered or canvas will contain a digital signature on the bottom right-hand corner of the print.
LE prints are available, standard, with a digital signature and edition number, again printed on the bottom right-hand corner of the print. There is an option for those who want the print hand-signed, titled and numbered (au-verso) instead (at an additional cost).
Why do the hand-signed LE prints cost more than digitally-signed ones?
In most instances, LE prints will be shipped directly from the pro lab I work with, which means that the signature is embedded and printed with the image and shipped out to you directly. Hand-signed prints will require an initial shipment to me, so I can sign, title and number your print. It then has to be repackaged and shipped out to you. Hence, the additional cost...
How do you handle shipping of your prints?
Simply! FREE SHIPPING ON ALL ORDERS OVER $100. (*Canada and the Continental USA ONLY)
Shipping is a part of life and so are the costs associated with it. Prints are offered as 'Just The Print' to save on these costs and not burden you with high shipping fees. Effectively, all LE 'Just The Print' orders will be shipped to your door at no additional cost to you. Any orders under $100 will incur a shipping fee of $10. All orders outside of the *jurisdictions specified will be by quotation, until further notice.
In addition, for those clients wishing their canvas prints to be stretched and ready to hang upon delivery, shipping will be by quotation, until further notice.
Orders generally ship within a 2-week window - you will be kept updated should anything interfere with that.
Are the prints ready to hang?
Canvas and paper prints, in most instances, will be shipped as 'Just The Print' (in a roll tube or equivalent). This allows you to consult with your local frame shop for suitable canvas stretching and framing, taking into account your decor, etc. OE Miniature prints are available as either 'Just The Print' (various papers and canvas) or stretched for you (canvas). All stretched canvases are supplied ready to hang.
Why is the print different than what I see on my screen?
Please don't expect it to be identical! This is because screens and printed images are fundamentally different: a screen displays images by directly emitting light while a print reflects the ambient light. It is recommended that your print be placed in a well-lit area.
What is your policy on Returns/Exchanges?
This website has been built to ensure that what you are seeing is what you will get. With features like the Wall Preview and the Live Preview AR throughout this website, I am confident that this will be the case. For those reasons, all sales are final. Damage in transit is, of course, an exception. Please contact me promptly to obtain a replacement, if that should occur. (If there is visible damage to the packaging that may affect the contents inside, kindly send me pictures and please reach out to me.)
I do not see some of your older photographs - are they still available?
In short, yes! The buildout of this website continues...
You see, in the past, my work had been offered predominantly in black and white (B&W). After a photo excursion in late 2017, I found those works were not 'working' in B&W so I endeavoured to learn colour editing.
As the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020, it became evident that the art market had changed and there would not be any more art shows to attend for the foreseeable future. I resolved to re-edit all of my work after rediscovering colour editing.
This is still an ongoing process and eventually, all of that work will be offered here. If you are after a specific piece you might have seen elsewhere on the internet, please be in touch with me.
